Setup
« on: January 08, 2010, 02:54:39 PM »
Hi Guys,

We've just had aload of these screen systems installed in our school but the company didnt provide any training.

I've logged onto the screen itsself, when I add the screen to the network (domain) and reboot the settings are gone! it doesnt seem to save anything, any reason why and can I change this.

Also how do I get the server to see these screens?

You can get training through your reseller. I had to do everything myself. Anyhow, you have your EWF Enabled and when you swithc off, then you loose your settings. Any changes you do to the monitor will be lost. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814257

You need to turn EWF to DISABLE then do all the changes and ENABLE it again!

Either that or you can use the command prompt to commit the EWF. The default that command I usually use is "ewfmgr c: -commit". Once committed, your changes would be stored and the next time you turn on the LFD, this setting would apply.

Hope this helps.
