The advanced version doesn't work with the basic one.. this license system is a bit strange!
The device has now appeared, but MagicInfo Lite seems too limited (ex: for file formats).

Luckly, I found something better: you can set the "Play Mode" from MagicInfo Lite to MagicInfo S inside the monitor settings!

All should be ok now, tomorrow I'll try a schedule+playlist.

Hi everybody ! 
Please, Could anyone explain with more detail in order to solve this problem? 
Cause I've already set the server info in the display with the remote control.
I don't have the table <mi_dms_info_device> or <mi_dms_info_lite_device> or I don't found it.
So I can't  "manually" approve any player in MagicInfo Lite.

Hello Cédric,

Described solution solves problem in early versions of MagicInfo V2. If you installed MagicInfo V2 Build 2004.7 or newer you should add Licenses first, as it comes without any preinstalled licenses. Licenses can be added in MagicInfo web interface. Login as default/main admin account then choose "Settings  >  License Info.  >  Free License" and add appropriate license type for your LFD devices.

Also, check network connectivity and Firewall settings if applied.

I'm using " Magic Info Lite Server V2.0 BUILD NA-MIILS-2002.1 ".
I checked my license and all it's ok.

Premium S device approved but while scheduling devic not found

Hi all,

I am using magicinfo premium s device. When connected with server it appear in unapproved thn I have approved it & all is set. But while adding new schedule it is not showing any device :( although the device is connected & I can see it in devices list.

In the local area network, the server show the connection of the display, everything is fine!,  but in a external network  i can not connect the display .

I had the same problem.
Do you have icon with "s" signage marked you group in device/group?  if not, you should open table "mi_dms_info_group" and add to you device group "group_type character value" SPLAYER.

Hello,
I'm having the same issues as the first post in this thread.
If I manually search for the device, it finds it, pops out the same message as the one posted, but it doesn't appear anywhere after that.
It's a Samsung DB40D MagicInfo S device.
I'm using: MagicInfo Lite Server V2.0 Build NA-MIIPS-2001.3

Thing that I've done:
Set IP address at the display
Put license mode to "Lite" at the display
In Options menu, put MagicInfo as source of playmode.

Any help will be appreciated.
