Distributer.exe - hanging server, too much handles O.o
« on: May 08, 2013, 08:31:08 AM »
Hi there, this is what I got from the tech support.
The server is crashing every 4-5 days.
Server 2003 R2 SP2. MIIP server - 1100.3.

"The following solution/actions were provided:

- The process distributer.exe creates too many handles - currently it spawned ~44500 resource handles.

The nonpaged memory pool is at ~71MB when the server will reach 90MB it will become unstable and system crash can occur (like the previous recorded crashes).

The application should be checked and tuned/updated."

Currently the handles are 55, and not rising for an hour at least.

Help me out what to do. Thanks  :)

Not sure all details. I would do this. Download the latest version of MagicInfo i Premium from the Samsung website. Unistall all Java things. Then let the Samsung installer do your job. When asked for Jave update, just cancel it.

I have had lots of issues with Java updates and now I restrict them to none!
