Missing JPEGs
« on: March 03, 2010, 04:37:14 PM »
Hi All,

We've been using the MagicInfo Pro software for a few months now and thought we were getting to grips with it...

Recently however we've been having intermittent problems whereby JPEGs that show up perfectly well when previewing screens on the server just don't show in the rotations on the monitors.

There's also been a spate of re-ordering (shuffling) of pictures, though that seems to have settled down for the moment.

Has anyone any advice or experienced either of the above?

Cheers

Greg

Hello Greg, not heard of this one before and I haven't experienced it myself, can you check on the screen D: drive that the pictures have arrived there ok after you have published the screen file?

Hi Eric,

We've had this re-occur again and unfortunately although the publish indicated it was complete it definitely hasn't transferred all of the pictures...

Curioser and curiouser...   ???

Will try repeated republishing and see if that resolves the problem again.

Cheers

just a quick thought on this, do you name the pics .jpg or .jpeg-it might have a bearing although probably not.. if the pics have transferred successfully to the library and you can see them in your server preview window they should work OK on the client.
