RSS behind PNG?
« on: March 19, 2010, 07:25:32 PM »
Had one thing come across with ordering the areas.
Tried to put an RSS behind a PNG i designed for a news ticker and it never displays through the alpha channel.
When i put a photo block behind it, it shows through the alpha channel.  not the rss.

Just wondering about a workaround if there is one.

Thanks for having a forum to help out with this.

Hi, don't know if this will help but maybe you could set up a web page area instead and incorporate a transparent div containing your rss.. Like I say. it may not be what you are looking for but...   :-\

<div style="background: transparent none;">Your rss code</div>

Thanks for the idea.  I will try that and see how it turns out.  I may just redesign a bit so I don't need the transparency.  I was hoping to have something in a non box setting with a gradient.

Let us know, I'm very curious how this goes.
