Screen going into standby
« on: January 10, 2014, 08:04:55 AM »
We have a Samsung SM400DXN2 LCD set up at a remote site running Magicinfo Standard (I know, I know). It displays fine but every morning when we come in it's gon into some sort of standby mode where the lights on the front are amber and we have to press the little power button under the screen frame - after this it reboots and is fine.
Any ideas?

Hello

I would firstly get a remote and check the settings on the screen yourself sometimes you may finds a power down setting has been enabled on the screen itself.

If not I would check the MDC Icon within the magicinfo software and ensure there is no timer been setup for the screen.

I take it you schedule the screen yourself and have ensured they are not set to power off the panel each night ?

Thanks
