Video Encoding
« on: April 27, 2010, 04:12:18 AM »
Hello All,

One of the things I have experienced while testing out MagicInfo I is a lack of bit rate information or video quality info. I am a designer/content creator who uses the Adobe CS4 Production Suite. I had been using a custom Digital Signage suite that never made it past its first round of funding and was major on video quality (50mbs H.264) Powerfull little bugger.

Anyways my company made the decision to switch to the Samsung Product line for our community DS network as well to supply our growing client list, after much testing I have found that while using Adobe Media Encoder if you choose the Apple TV 720p mp4 encoding you get a fairly good quality of video that the screens can handle. Currently testing on 400CXn-2 and 460FPn-2.

Hope this helps anyone who is interested.
