Client can't connect with server

Hello,

If I Connect my magicInfo-i Client to the server. Change the status of the client to not register to server. But if I look at the Unapproved device is there no data. But when I look under the sign off button is there one Unapproved device. I Have tried to search for device but that isn't work. There is no data. How can I register the client to the server?

Hi,

To "manually" approve any player in MagicInfo Lite/Premium open pgAdmin III and connect to relevant database (usually magicinfo).

Step 1
Open table <mi_dms_info_device> or <mi_dms_info_lite_device> and change value in field <is_approved (boolean)> from FALSE to TRUE for your device.

Step 2
Check in table <mi_user_info_group>  ID of group <group_id> to which you want to associate your player.

Step 3
Open table <mi_dms_map_group_device> or <mi_dms_ map_group_lite_device> and add ID value of desired group in field <group_id> for your device.

Now you should be able to see and edit your player in MagicInfo Premium web console.

Hello Ivan,

I am having the same issue. I altered the database tables and I still can't connect to my client.

Any other thoughts?

i mentioned in another thread that if you connect the SBB to a samsung TV, it will become available to approve.

Hi Nzat,

Can you provide more details on your environment?

Did you check network connectivity for client/server? Do you have any kind of firewall set? Did you configure MagicInfo client?

Hello guys,

i had the same problem in the Magicinfo server.
tried to approve the players manually but i failed in step 3.
i can't do any changes in this table cause there is no PK.
Do anyone have an idea to fix it?
