What model number and embedded OS are you using? Can you provide any information printed on the side of the player? Any reason why it failed?

THE DEVICE MODEL NUMBER IS DB40D THE OS IS WINDOWS 7 FIRMWARE VERSION T-GFSLDAKUC-1015.2 OS IMAGE VERSION NI_SBAW7E32_1005.5 CLIENT PROGRAM VERSION V1.0 BUILD NA-MIPP-1100.9, WE DON'T KNOW WHAT CASUED THE PROBLEM, WE CAN NOT GET IT OUT OF THE SCAN DISK IT JUST KEEPS RUNNING AND WILL NOT STOP. WE WOULD LIKE TO DO A TOTAL RESET OF THE SYSTEM TO SEE IF THAT WILL HELP. WE HAVE 9 OF THESE AND WE ARE HAVING PROBLEM WITH 3 OF THEM.

Hi, this is the downside of the write protection filter, please attach a keyboard to the USB 2.0 port (USB 3.0 ports don't seem to work without the drivers) and press F8 before the OS gets going. Then you'll be give various options including a Samsung System Restore, with care this should re-image the system and fix the problem. BTW, the first time the write protection filter is turned off you need to reboot the system before making changes or you'll a long disc scan etc. Unfortunately, I don't know of any other way out of this problem but, the good news is get easier to resolve the more times you have to run this fix.
