Displaying a website via MagicInfo Lite
« on: January 27, 2017, 04:11:54 PM »
My company is starting to use MagicInfo and the project just got dropped in my lap. The documentation I have found is minimal and isn't very helpful. We're using MI v.3 and I'm trying to display a webpage on the monitors but I can't figure out how to do it. I've created a new STRM content package with the URL but I cannot assign that content to the monitor. Does anyone have any tips on making this happen?

Thanks

i am not sure but i think you have to create a playlist for your content and after that you need to create a timeplan for your playlist. after that you should be able to display the website to your device

Please be advised that Magicinfo server V6.0 is just out!

When you are creating an LFD file you can put the website URL in a page, This you can publish to your screen with a playlist/ schedule.

Kind regards,
Pepijn.

My apologies for the late reply.

When you want to upgrade your MagicInfo please do not go directly to V6.0.
We strongly advise to use the versions in the link I have added, also be sure you have backup your MagicInfo server 100%.

We do not take any responsibilities when your system is not working any more after an update.

When you still want to update your MagicInfo server you can use the provided packages in the link at you own risk.
First V3 than go to V4 and then V6.

Good luck.
