Displays Missing - Failed to allocate network interface
« on: November 17, 2010, 05:01:00 PM »

I have just updated the MagicInfo Pro software on our server to 2509b. Now i cannot see the monitors in MIP. I get an error on starting the application "failed to allocate network interface" which i'm pretty sure must be the reason, but i've so far failed to come up with a working solution.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry to push such an old topic but I do  *CENSORED*  exactly the same problem. No matter what I set inside the program the screens won't show up. Windows Server 2008 on a virtual machine 2 screens, only one is listed but offline all the time. No documentation what failed to allocate network interface has to state, both NICs are displayed inside the options within the tool.

No difference if a user with admin creds is used or a limited user.

Anyone had the same issue and figured something out?

Would be more than appreciated
