Need MagicInfo-I advanced
« on: November 19, 2009, 09:09:00 PM »
Does anyone have a copy of or know where I can get the MagicInfo-I advanced version. I have the standard version but it does not do RSS feeds or playlists. I have also tried Samsung and I am getting the run around.

Thanks,

Ron

Hi Ron, I am evaluating Magicinfo I and you are correct I cannot do RSS feeds. I trink the advanced version is chargeable, so I will stick to what I have at the moment until I get to grips and then get the advanced version.

some supporter told me that from january 2010 beginning the stadnard version of magicinfo-i wont be developed anymore , one should use the advanced.. but well the advanced should then be for free.

why is this tool not free at all ? we paid the LFD.. thats enough

From what I understand, Samsung are chabnging things about the software. You can use the Magicinfo I for upto 50 units, but for more enhancements and more functionality there has to be a new set of software that is to be paid.

I have a Beta version of Advanced, and the RSS feeds were locked down to a handful of providers, same with the Weather Feed.... So you couldnt put in your own RSS feed.... That is something i hope they change... there is a fair bit more functionality in Advanced that would suit power users, I acctually really like it except for the poor RSS and weather module design.
