Samsung MagicInfo Pro Clean install?

Hello everybody,

My company has purchased two Samsung Displays with the MagicInfo software on it.
However, we purchased it from another firm and the filesystem is all "messed up".

We did not receive an original image to reïnstall the operating system.
I've tried installing our corporate Windows XP Professional on it, but this made the whole program just not run.
After some searching on this site, I think that's normal.

However, can anybody tell me how to obtain an original image of the screens itself, or is there some sort of system recovery mode on the devices that makes them revert to default? (I personally doubt it since the HDD is only 4 GB)

Any help is greatly appreciated :)

I know you used to be able to get the software from amsunglfd.com or if not try [email protected]

they should be able to forward this through to you

Thanks for the quick reply!

I've tried the site www.samsunglfd.com, but unfortunately had no luck.
All I could find here was a Korean Embedded version. So no luck there.

Would cost the company more to have someone learn korean then to buy a new screen, lol.

Anyway, will try tech support.

go ito SAM and have  dig about few downloads available and a OS folder may get your image in there.

Thanks for the reply. I will try the image, but I'm usure if the version is correct.
The version is  320MXn-2, but the software is  320MXn, so I'll see.

I tried Running a sysprep on the device by grabbing an image of the other display.
Let me tell you, that was straight hell. Windows failed to boot, had to fix the registry via BartPE.
And now all my services like Workstation, Server, DHCP Client, Computer Browser... are not starting.

Talk about a poisoned present hehe ;)
