Hi Guys,
I need to publish the information of a .ppt presentation (duration about 1:20 minutes) followed by a .wmv video (duration about 9:15 minutes) onto our monitor.
These 2 contents should be played in a loop (ppt - wmv - ppt - wmv - ppt - ...) the whole day long.
I thought the best way would be to add an additional slide into the .ppt and embed the .wmv into the presentation. Unfortunately the monitor does not play the video when it's packed into the .ppt. It does play the .wmv when I start it manually using MS Media Player.
Does anyone have an idea how I could manage this?
Creating two screens won't be a good idea because putting them onto the Scheduler would be a huge job.

Hi, is the video available on the client for the ppt to play it in the D drive-could you link to it from the ppt to make it autoplay?
-
Hi - yes it is. I have already that but the video does not start ... I have tried to embed the Media Player as well (via toolbox -> Windows Media Player) - did not work either ....

How about when you make your screen setting the background to an hour then timing the ppt then video in layers to start and finish for the correct time each? Then the files would play one after another for an hour then repeat if you schedule that screen to play for x number of hours per day daily in the scheduler. That should solve it.

Fluidium - this is great and exactly what I was looking for!
I was looking for this feature to start one content after the other but I did not find it.
Thanks a lot!
Do you know if it is the shortest possible background time is 15 minutes? I tried to shorten it to about 10 minutes but this did not work.
