Title: Can't Display Office-Files without the Menu
Post by: _1189_ on October 07, 2009, 09:22:18 AM
Hey @all

In MagicInfo, i designed a template wich should also display office-files.
I made a "office-range" and choose there my *.doc from the Library.

But on the Screen, it show's the whole Word-Document with the Menu-Bar and all. (Its the Microsoft Office Viewer installed on the Screen).

Have you some reason's to show only the Content of the File? Without the Bar's and all?

Best regards

Patrick

The issue is with the Microsoft Viewers. Remember that the whole existence of the VIEWERS is to occupy the whole screen and that's it. However, if you install PPT from Office, then you can get the PPT files into a small window in a size to your liking. But again, you have to go to the PPT application and request the PPT file to eb dipslayed in a small window and also without the scroll bars.

MagicInfo-I makes use of other applicatioon resources, it can't do everything by itself.

Regards

Bill

Bill is correct, follow his instructions and the ppt will display effectively with no menu on display  ;)
