Upgrading client to 3005
« on: December 03, 2010, 03:49:52 PM »
I have couple of Samsung 46" - 46CXn.
I was able upgrade the server to 2509b but I could not upgrade the client 3005.
When I ran the execute file, it asked to reboot the TV. After the TV reboot, it came back to version 2504.
Does anybody have the instruction to upgrade the client software?

After I upgrade the server to 2509B, I am able to load the PPTX file.
But it did not run on the TV, event I load the Power Point viewer 2007.

Thanks,
Mike

Finally, I was able loading the client 3005 on the TV.
When It ran Powpoint PPTX file, it gave me this error:

"The File Require the Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office System to view the content."

How do I get this fix?
Thanks
Mike

Try to open that file manually and see what happens.

Hmm, I don't know, maybe you could with ppt files and see if it works at all, or try a bit older version.

Re-image OS on your TV and install everything from the very beginning.

I think this is a matter of PPT Viewer version. I'd download version 2010 and you will find that this will be OK.
