Dear,

Can you indicate if there are any other differences? Perhaps the Windows version or such.

Please note only MagicINFO version 9 is compatible with Windows server 2019, and when you are using any other windows versions you need to use the Pro version.

Dear I was also stuck in this issue, but fortunately I found it
go to C:(or where you installed magicinfo server)\Magicinfo premium\bin
there is a utility magicconfigedit.exe > run it > stop services > edit IP address > Save /apply > start services

We have our MagicInfo server running on a VM that is in VSphere. We are moving the VM to Nutanix. The VM is staying the same, just shutting it down in VSphere, copying the VHD to Nutanix and powering it back on. After the move, the MagicinfoPremium service will not start. What are we missing?

 Dear sfjmercado,

This model is very old and discontinued, perhaps you can request the os image via Samsung itself?
I have seen before manuels and Windows images for this model.

Hello!

I have a SBB-D16AX2/ZA box, that seems to not want to restore or re-image correctly. I created a USB with WinPE_USBmaker_x86 loaded with NI_SBAWES16F_1003.1 and it worked fine for an exact same model screen and box we had issues with. The batch file seems to run fine and when we exit it reboots but loads the winipme command window with the samsung photo, and goes to the recovery screen each time. I even tried to diskpart and select another active partition to not work either.

Hi Lucia,

As Nolly is mentioning, did something has changed recently in your network?
Next to that, you can also try the (troubleshoot) steps below:
- Is your screen connected to the (right) network
- Is your time/ date set up correctly on the screen
- Re double-check your server address in the menu of the screen

I am curious if the screens ever came online? When they are offline they cannot retrieve any new schedules from MagicINFO, this issue you need to fix first.

Hi there,
I haven't been able to find a post with someone who is having  the same problem so I thought I would try my luck to see if anyone can help.
We have a bunch of digital screens using magic info. They have been all functioning good up until recently. Two of the newer screens are now malfunctioning. I'm encountering a few issues. Both of are not allowing new uploads. They are still following a schedule and playlist that was uploaded a couple months ago. I send a new playlist to the screen but it's not updating. Another issue is that one screen is not showing up in the menu. I've restarting the app, turning the tvs on and off, reconnecting to the wireless and I cant think of what else to do. I'm in no way a tech expert so hopefully someone can help!!

The last time this happened to me it was due to firewall permissions. Have a look at your firewall settings.

As for my understanding, MagicINFO will only work with the Samsung signage products and not with LG or BrightSign.

Anyone experience the random purchase of Large Format Monitors within their organization?  We have about 50% of our LFD's running with the MagicInfo player.  Most of the other LFD's have a Brightsign device connected as a content player.  It would be really nice if there was someone who has combined the LG and Visio LFD's into their MagicInfo server, specifically, connected Brightsign devices to MagicInfo server.
