Title: Transparent backgrounds for screen areas?
Post by: srtjase on February 03, 2011, 09:45:02 PM
I'd like to set the background of varous screen areas such as an RSS feed to be transparent, allowing for the underlying image to show through. I've tried setting the transparent property, but no luck. I've got my content running against a background video loop and want the rss text to run on top of it but show the underlying video.

Is this something I can accomplish?

Thanks,
Jason

Hi

You need to set the transparent property to 0 on the RSS feed which is in the background settings.

Hi,
That is how it is set, and I still see the background for the RSS box, rather than the content underneath.
Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Jason

Hi

I see your point, photos work ok but videos don't. I have not found an answer to this yet. If I do I will let you know.

This is easy!

Get your RSS frame and then use the background and Transparency to 0!

Then you can see the scrolling text and the background being transparent it will show what is behind it.

Simple, eh?
