Bought licenses for the company I work for. I have installed the PostgreSQL software that came with it, then installed MagicInfo. I used the set-up guide, made sure to enable the ports and double-checked that the 2 services were running. When I go to address http:/./localhost:7001/MagicInfo, I keep getting an error saying that the connection failed. I'm not sure what I am missing. I use local host because I want to be able to use it from the server as well, even if I use it's IP address, which doesn't change, http://192.168.0.242:7001/MagicInfo, same thing happens. During the setup, I verified that it was to listen to port 7001.
I'll post pics of the settings as well.

Could you perhaps provide us with the version of the server you installed?
Also in services is Secondairy logon running? couldnt find that in the pics :)

hello guys, i have the same problem can't open MagicInfo after installing the software. I am using MagicInfo server V3.1 build NA-MIILS-3103.1.. I installed it on a windows server 2008 R2 standard.. Secondary Login was enabled and started it always give and error report: "These has been an error. Please contact system administrator if the problem persists... hoping you can help me with this...
