Hi Anyone and Everyone,

Really in need of some help please.

Currently we have tried to upgrade to V8 server latest version 20.1040.0 and it was completed. As mentioned, previous V8 upgrade did not complete. We are using PostgreSQL.

Nevertheless, the login is still unsuccessful with "an unexpected error has occurred"

Anyone knows how we can maybe like reset password or do any edit to the config files etcs? Please advise! TIA!

Hi everyone,

Recently, we have upgraded from V7 to MagicINFO V8 build NA-MICS-20.1010.12

We are not very familiar with SQL, be it MSSQL or PostgreSQL

I am assuming there were errors during the upgrading. Please advise on how to proceed to check. We login previous with admin/admin2016

Should i share any logs here if it helps? Many thanks in advance

There are multiple error codes but the code 4345 means the server cannot access the Samsung database to activate the license.

You need someone with access to the Samsung portal https://www.secslm.com/ to provide you with an offline key file.

Then you can activate your license.

Hi all,,

I installed the MagicINFO software and set up MSSQL successfully. However, when I log in to my MagicINFO account, I encounter the following error:
"SQL: error was encountered."

I am not sure what is causing this issue, and I would appreciate your assistance in resolving it.

I have a screen in the foyer of our church which I manage from the AV desk,  Both are on the same ethernet network.  Every so often when I try to upload a new screen, I get a message saying "Not connected".  To solve this, I go to the foyer display, turn it off for a minute and then turn it back on.  Then it works.
Any ideas as to why the client loses this connection or how to fix it. 
I am running Magicinfo Pro 2507.0 (c) 2004 on the server.
I have had the system for probably 14 years and am delighted that it is still working perfectly apart from this problem.

Hello Genius,

I had a problem for the Web Author cannot be launched and mentioned "403 Error, Magicinfo Server version is lower than current Web Author. The version must be the same or higher."4

I updated the Magicinfo 9 to 21.1050 but issue persists.

Can share any insight with me how to fix it?

Hi There,

I am trying to use a google calendar link as content to a screen. I have tried using the web author and also having an input source change in the schedule to a website link. Each time it is just a white screen. I know this is possible because we had it working previously but we did recently change servers so maybe that is affecting something. I can get another website to work but for some reason there is a blockage for our calendar link. Any ideas?
