Title: 460UT Questions
Post by: signage460 on May 06, 2013, 02:25:00 PM
Got a couple of questions about the Samsung 460UT:
1. Does anyone know if you use a straight-thru or crossover (null modem) RS232 cable when connecting between displays MDC RS232 port?
2. When in video wall configuration will the unit pass composite video and HDMI thru the DVI Loop-Out? Or do I need a scaler in front of the first display so that inputs are all routed into the DVI input of display 1?

Hey Signage460,

1. Samsung always uses crossover rs232c cables, see picture attached.
2. You can only daisy chain digital to digital, so a scaler/ converter will be needed .
