Hi, I'll get a video wallet solution to a customer and I'm considering the Samsung Magic Info system.

The system should be able to display a looping presentation that the customer himself can change. But if something serious happens in the building, we should  be able to automatic take over the presentation on the screen from an external application. We can create .jpg files for this. When our system finds that the problem is resolved, our software should be able to tell the presentation to continue.
I thinking on Api, or maybe just a shared folder? The simplest solution is often the best one.

My question is if the Samsung Magic Info system can do what we want and which components we should we buy? The customer in the future should buy many displays and the cost per screen is interesting. So every screen maybe need:
Samsung MagicInfo-i Premium
And maybe magic datalink for every screen?

You can do it using the open API. Regarding content update, a shared forlder can solve it quickly.
But if you want to even make it easier and have lots of time,you can create a new way to upload contents using API

The Open API looks fine, but if it is a lot of work it is not a solution for my customer just now.

I tested Magic Info server and Datalink. It was so easy to install, set up and everything. I liked how I'm from distance have full control over the screen because the customer has a lot of building in different citys. And many screens get a lot of maintenance work.

The only problem is that I cant get the Events to work. Then I change a datalinked file (xml, csv or excel) nothing happens.

My settings is shown bellow:

The Event settings, there I can see that Datalink is working. For then I in the Json file change the marked value it is changed in the Magic Info too.

Then I Create a new Event

And finally I testet the Event and it works then I sends the Condition true

But nothing happends then I change the json, xml or excel file which I tested the method with.

I can¨t figure what is wrong, then I test with so many different Datalink file, i dont think the error is there.

Just now I only test on a devmachine with demolicense and I should demostration the solution before the customer choose this or a other product for their many buildings.
