Title: connection between screen and server
Post by: slu_fhg on March 16, 2012, 04:18:32 PM
hy,

i've got the following problem:
i have multiple ue55a screens and a pc where magicinfo i premium server runs on (windows 7 64bit). the connection between the screens and the server works well. i can see them in my interface, i can change their properties like name etc.
i also can create schedules and i can upload images and flash files or whatever. but when i'm finished with creating the schedule i don't know how i can get the files and the schedule on the tv. i tried everything: static ip's, dhcp, no firewall in windows on the server device, passive and active ftp.... nothing
where is the failure? it is the first time i work with magicinfo lite. did i miss some kind of deploy-button or a manual upload function? i thought when creating a schedule that he uploads automatically himself with the content to the device. did i missed something with the properties on the device?

please help me, i'm really desperate

maybe my problem is that i don't have a set back box. do i always need a SBB-A in connection with a UE55A. I thougt when i use the magic info i premium server and set the screen in magic info lite network manager mode that i can transfer the data from the server to the screen. but now i saw that i need a back box for each screen. is that right?

cheers

Hello
Something to check.
Di you use network With Firewall ?   MIIP use port 7001 and 7002 to work
And second check di you Use proxy and if check if you need to enter info on Hard or Auto with IE parameters!
Try it and i think you will find the error. :)
