Dear Ihooipg,

Please check your remote control server under Settings>External server management>Remote control server. Did something change in your network? Perhaps your server got a new IP address.

I to experience more delay in publishing content after upgrading to MagicInfo V7.

Kind regards,
Pepijn.

Hi Pepijn,

Thank for replied.

I've checked and noticed the new server IP address has changed. After added in the new IP, its worked.

At the moment, we're using MagicInfo version 4101.17 and database PostgreSQL 9.3. Is it okay to upgrade to latest MagicInfo & database?

Thank you.

Dear lhooipg,

Good to hear that you have solved this!

Yes you can upgrade from any 4 versions, please keep in mind that the latest version is 7. this would be a big impact, please make sure you have a good backup from MagicInfo and your database.
Understand that Samsung advises using PostgreSQL 9.6 as latest, we know higher will also work but it is not supported.

Kind regards,
Pepijn.

Hello Pepijn,

Thank you so much for the replied.

I've upgrade our MagicInfo from v4 to the latest v7100.2. But database still remain at PostgreSQL 9.3

How do I upgrade the database from 9.3 to 9.6? Do you have any guide/steps/links which I can refer to or stick with PostgreSQL 9.3 still okay?

Best regards,
Jeffrey

Dear Ihooipg,

You need to update this separately, I think you need to find your self the 9.6 version off PostgreSQL (use Google). I think you can run the installer and PostgreSQL will be updated.

Before you do make sure you have made a proper back-up of your current database.

Kind regards,
Pepijn.
