MagicInfo / One of my displays is not showing the scheduled media

Hello, I have two displays and I have set both of them on the same schedule and one of them displays the media, but the other does not.

I am using Lite licenses and I have confirmed that the problem display is on the 'MagicInfo S' app, so I am not sure what is causing it to not display the media correctly.

I also have the schedule set to 24 hours and there are no errors showing under the 'Device' section of MagicInfo.

Really stumped on why one of my TVs is displaying but the other isn't.

I have attached some screenshots of what my admin panel looks like. Basically it is saying there is no scheduled content on one of the TVs, even though it is part of the group I scheduled and you can see the TV did download the content.

MagicInfo Lite / problem to authorize a device

Good morning,
I am encountering a blocking problem regarding
using magicinfo lite
when I want to Authorize a device for a user, the button remains grayed out (see screenshot).

Do you have any idea to solve my problem?

Hi Pepjin,
RM server already configure even I have added both servers, I’m wondering anything need to be done on config.properties in both server to sync up ?

Zonehck,

Clear thank you for the additional info.
Perhaps you can check the RM address in the interface of Magcinfo under Setting>External Server Management>Remote control server

Next to that perhaps you can double-check your config.properties file and see if you need to make any adjustments.

Thanks for your reply, no currently I don’t have redis .
I have 2 MI app windows
MSSQL
Shared drive
L4 Load Balancer

Load balancer working fine also I can access both MI server individualy and LB & file upload , shedule , user , device everything I can see from both server but when I tried take device remote from server B for eg I’m not able take remote or can’t push any shedule. But I can do from server A
I believe TV is connected to server through LB . Any changes I need to do in config ? Or point LB ip in config ? Please let me know

Dear zonehck,

As I understand correctly when using a load balancer you need the following in place.
2 MI installations
1 DB installation
1 Reddis/Memchache
1 Samba for storage

Have you also checked the config.properties file from MI? Here you can also find reddis info.

i need a help . im configuring 2 magicinfo application server and i have one DB, with load balancer application working if i use load balancer ip . but when i try to take device remote im getting error "The device is not connected to the server." anything im missing ?

Dear shamazo,

Can you please explain a bit more why you wish to start this playlist on each hour?

Perhaps you can trim down your content files, as for movie files I have good experience with Handbrake to trim down the size.
Next to that what kind of screen model and firmware version are you using?

MagicInfo / Schedule Publishing Problem - Hourly schedule hangs at 6 items

I am trying to create a schedule where a playlist plays on the hour every hour all day.

I have tried with two different playlists with the same results.

I can schedule 5 hourly instances no problem, but the 6th instance causes the publish to hang. Sometimes a partial publish, sometimes it hangs at 0%.

The playlists I am using are around 500MB - but again I am not trying to publish several DIFFERENT playlists - just the same one starting every hour on the hour.

I have uploaded all new "clean" assets (mp4 video files) with identical results so do not think this is any type of data corruption.

The system will happily play either of these playlists in a "Never Expire/24-7" loop. It will also happily play 5 hourly instances. Just will not allow me to publish an schedule with 6 or more instances of this playlist.

Any ideas?
