1006 is the version i've been trying to use.  Like I said in one of the earlier posts, i've been on the phone with SAMSUNG and they are absolutely baffled by the problem and keep forwarding the help ticket to a higher up person for more ideas.  Hopefully they will eventually come back with some good advice.

I have the same problem.
I installed InfoMagicI server on 3 PCs with fixed IP address.
On the first PC (XP Home), I have no problem installation. On two other PCs (XP Pro), I had the problem to upload content.
With the help of Samsung, I've uninstalled programs Samsung and all Java programs. I've reinstalled Java 6 Update 17 and MagicInfo_I on two PCs. On one all is OK, on the other I can't upload content or with ?FTP protocol? or ?http protocol?. The FTP server works since I can connect with the user-name "admin". I use MagicInfo 1006.0. I don?t found the 1006.1 version.

As I wrote in another post this might help.

Uninstall all Java Installations, all the server software etc.

Download and install jdk1.6.17 without the Java DB option, that was what support did.

Reinstall server software

Hi All, I was having a simular issue witht eh authoring tool's publish feature.  I am uploading via FTP port 21 and had that set correctly but you also have to set the http port (even if you do not use http method). For me, i changed the http port to 80 and all was happy.

hope this helps.
