Can't find screen
« on: April 21, 2010, 08:48:19 AM »
Hi,

We're working at interns at a governemt facility & we've been given the assignement to let something show on one of the new samsung screens. These work with magic info pro (ofcourse)

But we can't seem to find a way to connect the screen with the computer we're trying to run it from.

Hi there, are you saying you cannot see the client in the server software interface? Usually if you plug the screen into the same network the server is running on the server will pick it up in a few minutes and show it on the interface. If this isn't happening then the most likely problem would be firewall blocking. Try turning off the firewall on both temporarily and see if they connect. You can also check each is connected to the network by assigning static ips then pinging them.
