Title: Monitor always says 'Not Connected'

We have a monitor and server on the same network and subnet.  The devices are able to ping to one another.  No matter what the device always says 'Not connected' when we try to publish to it.

We have invesigated and found the firewall is not on.

Verify your server and client both have the same verison.

I bet you have the dates wrong! Can you check? Also if the screen is not connected, you need to make sure that in your Windows Firewall, you have the Files and Printer shared option ticked onto the Exceptions tab.

Thanks for the Firewall advice.
I have not found this mentioned anywhere else.  Having struggled for more hours than I would like to think about, I implemented this change and lo and behold, it was working.
