Title: Problems when you change OS on hosting computer?
Post by: commgirl on March 19, 2010, 01:19:04 PM
Hi, there!

We've had quite a struggle getting these things up and running, with very, VERY little help from Samsung. Our IT guys, after months of playing, finally figured out the scheduler, so all was right with the world. Yesterday, he changed the operating system on my computer to Windows 2007 and the scheduler no longer works. :( Did we just lose a setting somewhere I need to find, or does MagicNet Pro not work on 2007? Anyone know? Have a similar issue? I know the screens itself have XP embedded, but I didn't think my computer's OS would affect anything.

ANY help would be much appreciated!! Thanks so much.

Hi, never let the IT guys upgrade your computer :-))

I don't think there should be any issues with the OS, when you say the scheduler doesn't work, what happens? Is everything else working as it should?
