Can you play the webtv in the browser on the client? In other words does it work in IE ok?

Try disabling the windows firewall and try it again in the browser-it should work-if not check it is definitely working on a different pc.

Is there a flash element to it> If so try updating the flash player.

Try to load the new software. I have downloaded it from the www.samsunglfd.com Here is the link:

https://www.yousendit.com/download/Z01OSmI0NHZZY1JFQlE9PQ    (for the player/client) and the

https://www.yousendit.com/download/Z01OSmI0NHZ0TWxFQlE9PQ   (for the server)

The links will only be there for 7 days!

I am not sure that I undestand. Do you get memory errors? or can't you not show a webTV? I have uploaded a BBC&RSS.scp file on the same ftp site. Can you download and then go to: Library, Tools, Import and point to the file. If you are in France though, BBC will not transmit anything other than UK. So it may be the same in France for similar limitations. Can you send me the URL you want to see, and I will check it for you.

Thanks, Bill

Tried it here and it seems to be fine, no errors, a bit slow but that is due to connection problems this end at the moment-hope that helps.

... the last thing I can suggest is to re-blow the image on the screen with the latest Samsung image. Do you know how to do that?

Hello,

Fixed when installing WMP11 instead of 9, but still having script errors (expected objects) when accessing web tv content.

Unfortunately, the latest OS image doesn't solve anything. :(
signage scheduler  seems to use another browser than iexplore.exe.
(We changed iexplore.exe in iexplore.old and signage scheduler still displays web pages.)  ;)
So what is this mysterious browser launched by signage scheduler ?

Well,
Now it works.
We had to upgrade or magicinfo pro client and server, and also Windows Media Player 11 (with directx setting activated).
Wow, what a tough job...
Please note that sometimes webtv don't use WMP but Adobe Flash player, which must also be installed on the screen.
Many thanks to William Sam
