Can't Remote Control TV from Magicinfo Server
« on: October 02, 2017, 08:07:11 PM »
We recently purchased a license to allow more than 25 TV's in the portal. Went with the recommendation of Samsung based on what we were using already, the free version. I can add in and discover new TV's from anywhere. But I can't remote control them. Though the quick control works for restarts.

Server is hosted at AWS.
Server 2012 x64 with all updates
MagicInfo Server (for S player) V4.1 Build NA-MIIPS-4100.0
Firewall is off on the server.
Ports 80, 7001, 3389, 5500 and 5901 open on the server.
Ports 7001, 5500 and 5901 open on the client.

Error in the RM_WSRM log shows;

[2017-10-02 14:31:04] INFO  [com.samsung.rmServer.openapi.web.OpenApiController.doRest(OpenApiController.java:388)] - ========================================

Did you find any solution?  :( At my organization I was testing the fw upgrade and now I have the exact same issue after upgrading the firmware of a QM43R Test device from "T-KTM2ELAKUC-2160.6 - T-KTM2ELAKUS-1045" to "T-KTM2ELAKUC-2440.1 - T-KTM2ELAKUS-1054 - T-NVT18SWWS-1010"  :-\ :-X :'(

I am still able to manage it (publish content/schedule, etc...) and Screen Capture also works fine, but no remote control at all.

In rm_wsrm.log I have the very same error at RMServer connection attempt:

Thank you ONTECH, but we do have "Unified Player License 2 (I, S, Signage)"
It is working fine with the rest of devices.
I am only facing this issue since upgraded the FW on our test device

from T-KTM2ELAKUC-2160.6 - T-KTM2ELAKUS-1045"
to "T-KTM2ELAKUC-2440.1 - T-KTM2ELAKUS-1054 - T-NVT18SWWS-1010

so I suppose it is somehow related to the newer firmware.  :(

Thank you ontech
I managed to update to the most recent version:

T-KTM2ELAKUC-2450.0
T-KTM2ELAKUS-1054
T-NVT18SWWS-1010

But unfortunately I receive the very same error in the logs:

Are you aware of any trusted repo where older BEM firmware updates are available? I would try to downgrade it via MagicInfo or if it is not working via USB drive.
