Title: MIP "losing" connection to screen
Post by: CarlSilver on September 18, 2012, 12:02:50 PM
Recently installed 7 MIP screens (MX3's) and i'm having an issue with one of them. When the screen boots up it shows as connected in MIP, then after about 6/7 seconds it disconnects (greys out) yet the screen is still fully connected to the network (ping, RDP, VNC all work). The only 'fix' i have for this is to VNC onto the screen, quit MIP and re-launch it. Only then will it stay connected to MIP server. Any ideas before i rip all my hair out?  ;D

are you connecting via server name or via ip address

I would suggest you have the screen connect via IP address see if his helps to fix it.
