Fixed it by typing in the following when the TV was off: Mute 1 8 2 then power on, but i had to use the power on button on the back of the tv, took a few tries.

Hello, I got a couple of ME40C and ME46C displays and im trying to set them up but I can't see the On Screen Display settings menus, I can hear the menu so I know it should be up. I have tried MDC over R45 without any luck (everyting is greyed out).

Is there any way to reset the displays or am I missing something?

I have not much experience with MSSQL (more PostgreSQL).

But When choosing the WAS only function you still need to create the magicinfo database in the MSSQL server.

For my understanding MSSQL server, the password id needed to access MSSQL and the Database user password is the user that has access to the specific database in this case magicinfo.

Could you also please tell me if MSSQL Server password is the same as Database User password or is it 2 different things
As i was told this should be the same thing.
Or how does it work when i am installing this only choosing WAS installation.

A strange situation seems like MagiciNFO cannot read your device group structure. Have you tried making a new organization and adding the screen in there?

I don't think is causing the issue. This is more an error about an alarm setting within MagicINFO.

MagicInfo Lite / Problem Approving Devices, new clean installation

Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble approving my devices in the new instance of MagicInfo Lite.

Long story short: I had an older version of magicinfo, when I updated, content stop showing, so I uninstalled everything and started over.
I installed MagicINFO V8 build NA-MICS-20.1000.14
and now the devices show up in unapproved, when I'm selecting the device group to approve them, I get the error "Not Available" right after selecting such group.
I've tried creating new groups all with no luck.

I've attached a screenshot of the error.
Do you have any Idea what could be the problem?

Could you please take  a look on this log and give me any tips on it if it can be related to the problem?:

It is now becoming more unclear where the fault can be, perhaps if you are in the possibility. I would advise starting completely with a fresh start also MSSQL.

And perhaps when you are not committed to MSSQL you can use PostgreSQL. In my experience, it is more simple to use.

You can find the log files in the following folder on your machine:
C:\MagicInfo Premium\runtime\logs
C:\MagicInfo Premium\tomcat\logs

Maybe do you have any suggestion what logs can i check and where to find it?
Also it may be the problem with MSSQL Database wrong password typed while installing? How to check it as well?
