Title: 2 videos in a loop
Post by: icortes on November 24, 2010, 10:12:59 AM
Hi!

I'm trying to create a screen with 2 videos, so i added 2 films, Film1 starts at 00:00:00 and ends at 00:00:10, Firm2 starts at 00:00:11 and ends at 00:00:21, but when it fininishes, Firm1 doesn't start again, so.. I want to create a loop like Film1-Film2-Film1-Film2... etc. I can't use an only one video, because Film1 is a counter video with the week days, and Film2 is a generic one.

Please help!

Hi

sounds like you might need to set the background time of the page you are creating-if for instance your total video time adds up to 10 minutes then set your page background time to ten minutes and the videos should start playing from the first one again after the ten minutes has elapsed..

The way you are doing it, naturally won't work. Remember that the template you create is for a whole hour, and the schedule is normally set for 30 minutes by default. In order ti keep repeating the sequence it is to create a template as long as both videos last. If they are in total 20 minutes, then this is the total ammount the template should be set for. Once you do this, then you can schedule the whole template for hours on end, and the videos will repeat them selves in sequence.

It doesn't matter that template is by default set to an hour. You only need to create one movie area when designing your screen and then add both of your movies to that area and they will repeat one after the other. You don't have to manually set their  start times, just add them and they will play just fine.
