Turn off / on displays from MagicInfo Server
« on: January 23, 2015, 04:24:39 PM »
Hi,
I have an issue, I can turn off a device from magicinfo server, but then I can't turn it on from the server as well. I have to turn it on with the remote control.
I get an error when I try to turn it on from server. It says something like: Is not possible to activate the device from the security server or from the private network.

Any clues?

Hey Ajcalleja,

In the monitor there is a setting under System -> Power options -> Network stand-by (or something like that, doing this by memory)
this allows your network connection to stay active when the monitor is in stand-by, meaning that commands (to turn the device on) can still be send when the monitor is off.
