Title: iPlayer gray screen

Hello everybody!

I have a playlist that has two video files in them (mp4). On the screens when one video ends and another should start there is a pause (about 30 or more seconds) and the whole screen turns gray.
The playlist is playing on three screens and this happens on all of the screens.
It would seem that the player has a hard time loading the videos.

How can i make this gray screen disappear and how can i make the transition between videos smoother?

My set up is SBB-D32CV2/EN, MagicInfo Server V2.0 Build NA-MIIPS-2004.7, MagicInfo Premium i Player V2.0 Build NA-MIIPP-2004.1.

Hi,

Check if you have installed appropriate codecs on your players (SBBs) and also try to optimize your video files by re-encoding them with same codec to same resolution with same frame and bit rate.
I recommend H.264 BP/MP/HP, 1920x1080, 25 or 30 fps in 25 Mbit.

What codecs should i use?
Or if i would download k-lite codec pack, would that be enough?

i use k-lite full codec pack

Hi,

In most cases K-lite Basic should be enough. I use it in most cases, and sometime in special cases using K-Lite Full.
