Hi

I am new to the wonderful world of magicinfo pro and have had a lot of problems not least publishing Powerpoint presentations.

I have read some of the answers to others problems and thought i would do the conversion to a .wmf.

I have done this and published to my screens but nothing happens all i get is a black monitor.

The .wmf runs fine on my local PC but not on the monitor, is there a step i am missing.

hello Phil,

have you install on your screen the powerpoint viewer for read powerpoint?
for read the video you must install some codc, try with this software "klite codec pack"
for this disable the EWF; install your's softwares on screen, enable then EWF
install all the codecs for audio or video.

Thanks for the help. I meant a .wmv file not .wmf.

The codec install and conversion from .ppt to .wmv with office 2010 works a treat.

I have got powerpoint viewer installed but it does not autorun and it only runs the presentation once.

Not to bothered now i have a fix but i will look into later.

hello Phill,
Happy to have help you.
For powerpoint, have you set in your's office area properties this:
input enable : off
viewer : on

when you have installed Powerpoint viewer on your screen you must run it one time at last and after make an EWF
if you've for example two screens in your schedule (one with powerpoint and one with other media) the player must play and repeat Powerpoint screen at the end of the second screen
