Samsung 400DX-3 with SBB-Q32AX4
« on: March 14, 2012, 11:53:13 AM »
Hi all

I know the 400 DX-3 is not officially supporting the SBB-Q32AX4 and it's made for use with SIM-NT module.
Nevertheless it seems to work also with the SBB. At least in my testing area.

My only problem is that the Display is always restarting after a shutdown.
This is because of the input signal from the SBB-A.

I tried different settings, but it's always restarting immediately.

My configuration is:
400 DX-3
SBB-Q32AX4
connected by a DP-HDMI cable (SBB: MagicInfo out, Display HDMI 2 / MagicInfo in)

With this config i can even set timers for the screen on the MagicInfo server, so the communication is working fine.

When the Display is shutting down, shouldn't it bring the SBB to shut down as well?

Thanks in advance for any input
Frank

Hi Frank,

Did you ever resolve this issue?  I have exactly the same on my units and it is making what should be a great system a little unpopular as people cannot use the remote control to turn the screen on and off whilst the SBB is present.

Thanks and regards,

Steve.
