server doens't show the screen
« on: May 26, 2010, 05:14:23 PM »
Hey guys,
I've a problem.
My pc and my Samsung 400UXN are connected via a router.
I've still tried "Direct connection using an IP address" and "Automatic Connection using server name" but both doesn't work.
The server doesn't show the screen.
"cmd > ping" works, so i think they are connected.
It's my first time using MagicInfo Pro.
What could i do wrong?.
Sorry for my bad english...

Hi, sounds like you need to schedule a screen to play in the scheduler window-check the date and time shown at the top of the screen then schedule your screen you have built to play at the time you want, then publish it  ;D

Ah, it works!

Now i have another problem.
I am trying do to a video wall with 5x5 400UXN.
But when i publish schedule with a test picture, every screen shows the picture, but i want to have one big pic over all the screens.
I still created a video wall template and a group, but no success...

Once you have set the 5 x 5 videwo wall (this is pretty big.....) then you will need to get the approprate template (Photo or Video) to push through the network to the screens. Apart from the Group Setting you will need to do for each individual screen their position as well. It is important therefore to know the name of each individual screen so that you would know where their position on the video wall is, e.g. Top right, middle, left bottom etc.
