Just checked on our new DC40, just arrive this week and I thought about this post again

The option is in there, just like the manual says...
All I can think of is updating the Firmware, maybe you happen to just have a faulty firmware level???
You can check your FW version under [Menu] -> [Support] -> [Contact Samsung]
The latest version is 1019.2
I can provide you with the firmware for manual update if needed
