I would like to test out content development on my PC. If I load the server software - can I set up my PC monitor to display content?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes you can. When you design a template, you can then PREVIEW your design, by pressing the EYE button at the top of the server tabs. I use this all the time - you have to!
