What formats of music files does Magic Info Pro accept? Trying to add some Christmas music to a screen!

Hi,

It was my understanding that any file format supported by Windows Media Player could be used provided the relevant codec files are installed. I started today trying to do the same as Claire (adding xmas music to the screen) and MagicInfo is telling my that both MP3 and WAV are not supported formats. I have added .MP3 & MPEG-3 to the Santamaria2 and Beethoven(2) registery keys but it still insists that the format is not supported. Does anyone know if there's another regkey or file i need to tweak ?

I have put in my MagicInfo Pro library two files, one in MP3 and one in WAV all are supported by magicinfo pro. i have test with OGG, FLAC, APE, they are not recognise by MagicInfo. i haven't test CDA
to put music in MINFO:
you must go in your screen background, then music. make a right clic and then add your files

?? WMA 9 PRO does not support lossless audio and multi-channel audio higher than 2 channels.
?? WMA sampling rate 22050Hz mono is not supported.
