Multiple 320MXn-2 displays with user interaction
« on: March 16, 2010, 06:00:09 AM »
Hello gents/   *CENSORED* ,

I have recently come across the Samsung displays (320MXn-2) which seem to suit my requirements.
I do however have a question: How do I interface an external inputs, such as a user pressing a button, to the display?

What I want to do is to display data, which I will dynamically generate, and have the user "acknowledge" it. I have never used the MagicInfo Pro software before and cannot seem to find a lot of the technical details around this software. Do you guys know of a demo version of this software so that I can prove the concept?

Regards,

Wayne

Hi, have a look here

http://www.magicinfopro.com/magic/index.php/topic,30.0.html

one thing to remember though is that the latest versions only run on the Samsung hardware for obvious reasons   :o

Hi fluidium,

Thank you for the reply.
I am using Samsung hardware, so I believe there won't be any issues there.

Do you have any idea if you are able to change the display using an external application or get the display server software to read inputs from other devices?

Regards,
