Active Directory LDAP Integration
« on: May 01, 2015, 09:09:30 PM »
Let me say thank goodness I have found this forum!  I have had pretty bad luck with Samsung support.

Has anyone successfully got the integration to Active Directory to work?  I am trying to get it working so my users do not need an additional login account and can use their AD credentials.  The only fields I see in my server settings for LDAP are Server, Root DN and Manager DN.  I am fairly certain I have all of these with the correct information but I am still unable to retrieve AD users.  When I go in to add a new user and I do search LDAP, click organization, it comes up No Data.  Just wondering if there is something else I need to do or am missing?

Any help or ideas would be appreciated.  Thanks!

-Scott

Hi Scott,

could you provide the data you entered?
We using the Ldap integration since 3003.3 successfully

Root DN: Top-Level of your LDAP tree (expample: o=corp)
Manager DN: User to access the LDAP (example: cn=magicinfouser,ou=users,o=corp)

Bye
Stefan

Thanks Stefan!  I did end up getting it to work.  I had the incorrect DN and it just took trial and error.

Having the same issue using LDAP Authentication. Server Address, Root DN and Manage DN are correct. I can search LDAP User and add but signing on gives the Username or Password incorrect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
