I have been using Magicinfo 2507.0 for about 15 years and it has been able to do  everything I needed - essentially using the movie screen to play videos using a schedule from a server on the LAN.
I must have done something silly whilst uploading a schedule recently and now the server does not see the client.  Previously, the monitor's name appeared on the schedule, but now the only option is local.  Similarly remote management does not connect to the client.
I have gone back to the client and tried both connecting using the server name and via the ip address.  No change.
Any thoughts on how I may re-establish a connection?

SOLVED: 
I have not had to log on to the client for years and so have not made any changes there.  When I logged in today, I checked the networking settings.  It said "Local Area Connection - Validating Entry - Firewalled.
I checked the Firewall settings and found that Magicinfo was not listed as an exception.  I added this and lo and behold it worked.  I cannot understand how this was removed!!
That should keep it going for a few more years.
